The symbolisation of the enlightened
Body, Speech and Mind
The Stupa is a 'Spiritual Monument', the symbol
of enlightened mind and the path to its realisation.
It usually contains Buddhist relics.
The stupa represents the Buddha's body, his speech and his mind, but most especially his mind and every part of it's construction shows the path to enlightenment.

De symbolisatie van verlichte
Lichaam, Spraak en Geest
De Stoepa is een 'Spiritueel Monument', en bevat meestal boeddhistische relikwieën.
De stoepa vertegenwoordigt Boeddha's verlichte lichaam, spraak en geest, maar is voornamelijk het symbool van de verlichte geest en het pad naar de verwezenlijking ervan. Elk onderdeel van de stoepa laat de weg naar verlichting zien.
